The PORTO Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot (40%), is red wine elaborated within the concepts of traceability and "wine of author", from the rigorous selection of grapes coming from Serra Catarinense and Gaúcha. Its name, alluding to the Port of Itajaí, is a tribute that the Villa Prando Winery lends to the city where the wine is made.
The illustration alludes to the first trapiches and historical organization of what today the Port of Itajaí represents for the economy of the city.
The Porto is made with carefully selected grapes, and matured in French and American oak barrels. It has intense intense color, ruby, the aroma is rich, it remembers mature fruits, raisins, spices and roasted of oak. The taste is balanced, soft and persistent.
Due to its great structure and power, this wine harmonizes with exquisite dishes with intense flavor like lamb meats, partridges, wild boar, pork, beef and cold cuts. Ideal temperature 18ºC - 20ºC
